About The Firm

YoffeCooper was formed with the idea that our clients' needs are the center of our practice.

Our attention to every detail of our clients' businesses, and our level of availability to our clients at all times, sets us apart. We treat every call, email, letter, or smoke signal from a client as the most important thing happening in our day. We appreciate that our clients have allowed us the honor of representing them and make sure that we show our appreciation every chance we get. We regularly communicate with our clients to stay in tune with their business needs, and attempt to know as much about their business as a business partner would. When we are called on for our advice, our primary goal is that our clients make smart business decisions, we then use our experience, knowledge, and common sense to make the law work for the right business choice.

A true Southern California business law firm.

Our practice is a full-service, business law practice focused on the needs of the business owner and entrepreneur. We believe that a business should not be viewed as merely a client, but also a partner. It is our mission to provide sound legal and business counsel to all businesses, from start-ups to established ventures, as their trusted counsel.

Alexander Yoffe

Partner

My name is Alexander Yoffe, but usually I go by Alex. I am the Yoffe part of Yoffe Cooper. My favorite part of being a lawyer consists of representing start-ups and growth-stage companies, and advising them from formation to exit. Currently I am excited to be educating clients about NFTs, Web 3.0, DAOs, and the changes coming to every business. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, my MBA from Loyola Marymount University, and law degree from PACE University, with a focus in Business and International Law. During that window I also studied in France, England, Austria, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand, as part of my love of international business law. I live in Manhattan Beach, CA, with my wife Kristen and son Cayden. When not working, or spending time with my family and friends, I enjoy surfing, golf, snowboarding, travel, wine, whiskey, and tequila tasting, or figuring out the best way to make pastrami from scratch.

Daniel Quisenberry

Senior Counsel

Daniel (“Danny”) Quisenberry is a very “seasoned” litigator, with the passion of a young buck and the wisdom of knowing where and when to apply that passion. He enjoys representing clients in advanced protections of all manner of property, contract and business rights. This has allowed him to successfully represent property and business owners with everything from IP, trademarks and copyrights worldwide, to property line disputes and business arguments down the street. Predicting results of a dispute, and following through in the most efficient manner to achieve those possible results, is a special forte. This does not always mean filing every possible motion or objecting to every shadow of an issue (which results in a huge legal bill) – it usually means well planned and surgical strikes that really mean something in the end. Mr. Quisenberry is at his best in court or at trial, and winning while adhering to supreme ethical standards, is paramount. He enjoys water, music, entertainment, travel, philanthropy, and riding boards of all shapes and sizes. In fact, he is or has been on many boards from Chambers of Commerce, to think tanks (The Future Foundation), to Rotary Clubs, and was a Founding Member of the Association of Surfing Lawyers. Hailing from UCLA Law, Danny has represented or litigated against many of the biggest musical artists and record/entertainment companies (Beach Boys, Steppenwolf, Prince, Capitol Records, Time/Warner, and many more), and his own rap name is “Sweet White Chocolate”.

Melissa Koebli

Legal Secretary

I am a native South Bay local with a B.A. from CSU Long Beach. When I’m not in the office assisting our attorneys, I enjoy Peloton rides, karaoke, puppies, road trips and wine tasting/breweries. My dislikes: seafood, weak margaritas and yard work. My dream vacation is to the beautiful Sedona, Arizona (which I have made into a reality a few times, and it never gets old).
